For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
WHAT IS A SOUL COACH?
Do you have trouble believing you are God's masterpiece? Do you struggle to know what you were put here on earth to do? Do you feel disconnected from yourself, others, or your Creator? If so, a soul coach can help you grow in the arenas of identity, vocation, and intimacy with God.
I define a soul coach as a soul care companion, someone who utilizes the tools of spiritual direction and personal coaching to help you hear what you need to hear, see what you need to see, and do the work you need to do, in order to become the masterpiece you were created to be.
If you are feeling stuck, lost, or discontent, soul coaching can help you discern and take the next step forward. You do not have to make this journey alone. I also believe discovering your identity, purpose, and Creator is serious business, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun doing it!

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
SHAY KUSUMOTO

I had no idea what to expect going into the Examen of 2020 workshop, but I was blown away with how in depth, personal, and totally refreshing of a time it was! I didn't want the time to end. God spoke to me in a real and intimate way and I wouldn't have had that kind of experience without Yo's expert guidance and gentle spirit. Mahalo!

Mrs. Miller is a persistent encourager and insightful mentor. She has drawn out my strengths and helped me find my voice, empowering me to use my God-given creative talents to uplift those around me. She has inspired me to be more disciplined in my faith and habits.

SARAH MURPHREE

Yolanda is a master at what she does! For years, I have been seeking a mentor that goes spiritually deep with me as opposed to a relationship filled with goals and deadlines. Yolanda certainly has held me accountable for specific goals in my life, but she has also encouraged me when I have been in dire need of it as an actor and writer in LA. Furthermore, she has led me to have a deeper relationship with myself and God.
ABOUT ME
I've spent much of my life trying to figure out who I was called to be and what I was called to do. I've had some fun adventures along the way (moonlighting as the UCLA college mascot and a TV extra, to name a couple).

But you know what was seriously NOT fun? The self-doubt, uncertainty, frustration, and loneliness in not knowing my identity or purpose. I know what it's like to wonder "What the heck am I supposed to do with my life?"

I received my M.A. in Theology and Youth Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and I spent decades working with young people as they explored issues of identity and purpose.

But I discovered that those questions of identity and purpose don't stop when you grow up. After I became a stay at home mom and my kids started growing up, I had to go through the process all over again! Nobody told me I'd still be figuring out what to do with my life when I was 45!

Then I serendipitously landed in the Vocation Formation Division at Fuller Seminary--helping graduate students and marketplace adults learn tools to answer these same questions. And as I saw their lives changed, I found my answer:

My calling is to help those who want to change the world and live a life of purpose go out and do just that. How? By helping them discover who they were created to be, what they were created to do, and the Creator who designed it all.
